1. Scope and Collection of Information
Assam Science & Arts Academy ("Institution", "we", "our") collects personal information solely for educational, administrative, examination, and statutory compliance purposes. This includes student identification data (names, dates of birth, contact details, emergency contacts), academic performance records (attendance, examination marks, grade transcripts), and parent/guardian contact credentials.
2. Confidentiality & Student Privacy
Student academic evaluations, fee receipts, and health records are strictly confidential. Access is restricted exclusively to authorized administrators, academic instructors, and the student's designated guardians through authenticated portal sessions. We do not sell, rent, or share personal data with unauthorized commercial third parties.
3. Digital Portals & Authentication Security
All student, parent, and faculty portal communications use encrypted Transport Layer Security (HTTPS / SSL). Password hashes are securely stored with multi-round cryptographic hashing (bcrypt). Session tokens are generated securely and expired according to institutional security standards.
4. Document and Photograph Storage
Uploaded application credentials, student photographs, and identity proofs are stored securely and used solely for identification cards, official admit cards, board registration lists, and student record files.
